Welcome to the Aviation Systems Management Program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. For over twenty years we have been providing one of the highest quality collegiate aviation education programs in the country. We are confident we have what it takes to get you prepared for your aviation career.

UNK offers a Bachelors of Science degree in Aviation Systems Management which includes a core grouping of aviation, technical, and business course and your choice of two emphasis areas.

Flight Operations emphasis is designed to prepare you for a career as a commercial pilot. Our flight training program will give you the opportunity to earn your private pilots license as well as prepare you for the instrument, commercial, multi-engine, and flight instructor certificates and ratings.

Aviation Support Services emphasis provides all the preparation necessary to be a manager in any of the numerous aviation related industries.

We believe that UNK is the perfect educational institution in which to complete your aviation studies. We know you will appreciate the personal service and attention you will receive from all members of the UNK faculty. The class sizes at UNK are small, allowing faculty members to know you as an individual. In addition, Kearney Municipal Airport's large runways and uncrowded skies, provide UNK the perfect flight training location, and you won't have to wait in line for take off.
